Breizh Spirit

Created for the Contemporary Culinary Center of Rennes Restaurant and handcrafted in collaboration with the Meiseinthal Glass Factory, Breizh Spirit celebrates sea salt — both as a central culinary ingredient and a symbolic material of purification and ancestral craftmanship, echoing the traditional rhythms of salt harvesting.
The collection of small holders displays salt as a precious substance at the intersection of design, ritual and gastronomy.

Displayed separate from pepper and inspired by Brittany’s “mottes de beurre”, the objects honor the art de la table — where attention to gesture, presentation, and material meet. Their "Glaz" colors, shifting from deep green to ocean blue, celebrates the palette of Brittany coastline, its stormy seas, kelp forests, and algal blooms.

The collection was glass blown into miniature perfume bottle molds, playing with variations in thickness and transparency to create different bases. After cooling down, each piece was cut, sanded and refined, giving birth to unique forms that cradle the salt like tiny jewels.
