Iroko Spears

A limited collection of three unique spears, crafted by Sebastien B and hand-painted by Sophie Vilette — two friends who met while training in freediving.

Seb specialized in spearfishing, Sophie in art and design; united by a shared love for the ocean. They merge their skills in a collaboration that celebrates the freediving community and sustainable fishing.

Each spear is fully hand-shaped from 70-year-old reclaimed iroko wood and finished with custom freehand flow-style paintings that honor its story and connection to the sea.

The project highlights techniques that balance buoyancy, precision, and durability. Handles are coated with local sand for a better grip coated with resin, merging natural textures with functional design.
